Who out there thinks that there is no such thing as fate? Who out there thinks they are entirely in control of their future, and that outside factors play no role whatsoever? I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find someone who can go along with the above statements.
What I'm saying is that deep down most of us believe that fate could play some role - that we are destined for somebody. You've heard the term "soulmate" - it means that there is someone out there that is perfect for us, our perfect match.
I know, I know, maybe we've all been forced to sit through one too many of those romantic comedies that all turn out the same way. But deep down don't we think that something like this could happen to us? I mean, if we completely ignored it wouldn't it make dating a whole lot more boring? There's got to be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, right? This is why we all date to begin with!
One of the points I'm trying to make is that the way we appear in the eyes of the other person may depend on stuff other than physical appearance. Ever try out those online dating sites? I never gave them a second thought until a friend tried one out and introduced me to it. It's amazing how easy it is to meet people who are in the same boat as you. Speaking of online dating sites, notice how almost 100% of the time they ask for your sign of the zodiac? That's because there are millions of us who believe in some of these external factors!!!
At first I was never the type to give the significance of astrology a second chance when it came to dating. I was the person who if I liked what I saw, I went for it. Then I met someone who did make me think twice about astrology. We were sitting on her couch one day a little while back talking about anything and everything, and I noticed a book sitting on her coffee table. I picked it up and read the title - something to do with how people from the different signs of the zodiac interract with others. I laughingly asked her if she believed in the stuff...after she told me about what she learned on the topic she was the one laughing at me. She told me she goes out of her way to make sure the "new guy" in her life is always compatible with her according to the zodiac. The formula worked - all her relationships were alot more succesful than the ones I'd been in up to that point. Now I'm the one going out of my way to learn all I can about using astrology to maximize my dating and relationship potential.
Next time you're out on a date, or even making small talk with an interest of yours at the office or at a party, casually bring up a conversation about you going to a friends birthday party and how much fun you had there. Work your way into asking them when their birthday is, and with a little practice you'll be able to identify with a snap of the finger their sign of the zodiac. Not only will it give you insight into your compatibility with them according to the zodiac, but THEY WILL BE IMPRESSED when you are able to tell them what their sign is, and when you say a couple things about it.
For example, say you're having this conversation at the office water cooler and talking to that cute guy from Marketing or that cute girl from Accounting. They tell you their birthday, and you say something like "Ahhh....a Libra....well that explains why you're so indecisive when it comes to guys! (or girls, whichever you happen to be). Of course, make sure you say it in a joking way...and hopefully you know the person well enough so they won't be offended!
A response like this gives your love interest some very valuable info about you:
1. There's a whole lot more to you than what they may know
2. You're intelligent
3. You're interested in them enough to make this statement (hints at your attraction toward them, which I mentioned before aids in their attraction to you)
4. You are someone they could have an interesting conversation with
5. You have enough CONFIDENCE in yourself to make the statement!
Think about how key a statement like this is if they have even the slightest interest in astrology! It would without a doubt be your ONE WAY TICKET TO SUCCESS! And don't underestimate the number of people out there who are passionately interested in the subject...it's literally a bubbling oilfield just waiting to be tapped! Most are just reluctant to bring it up right away because they're worried what others may think - which really is nothing to worry about at all...if anything, they'll think you're even more interesting and knowledgable!
